Phoenix Dog Park lost a very special friend in June of 2010. Amigo was the dog park's unofficial ambassador along with his owner and dog park docent friend and owner, John. Amigo's sudden departure was a shock to all of the park visitors. Amigo got along with everyone, four footed and two footed, and it was not unusual for Amigo to greet and play with new visitors, giving Phoenix Dog Park a stellar reputation for being a nice place to visit.

We will miss Amigo.

AMIGO'S KENNEL PAGE

John and Amigo started visiting the Phoenix Dog Park in early July of 2008. xJohn tells us that Amigo is a Certified Pet Therapy dog and visits various Kaiser hospitals on a regular basis.

Amigo is very smart, not afraid of the big dogs, likes to play, and has great obedience skills. John can call Amigo from a distance or give him a sit/stay command, and Amigo obeys instantly.

Amigo's coloring is referred to as "Blue". xIsn't he cute!!
