I was introduced to (and fell in love with) Plott Hounds 2 months ago when I fostered one that caught distemper in the shelter and didn't make it.

Beegee is a rescue from the Fresno SPCA. I responded to an urgent e-mail from a Plott Hound rescue group that BeeGee's time was short. I dropped everything and drove to Fresno as they were going to euthanize her that very day. They didn't want to release her to me as she hadn't been fixed so my friend from the rescue group registered me as a rescuer.

She is wonderful. Sweet and brave and a great companion for Molly, our 2-year old Ridgeback. They both love dog parks and long walks.
