We got Cisco from Border Collie Rescue of Northern California after his elderly owner died.
Cisco loves to chase and catch (although not retrieve!) his flying squirrels (dog Frisbees) and soaking in the pool at the dog park. He is a companion to our 15 year old dog Trico as well as a bright bundle of energy on walks. Cisco loves to cuddle with us at home. He is very friendly with all ages of people and dogs. Despite his displays of Border Collie “eye” when stalking his flying squirrels, he showed no interest in sheep at a herding instinct test; he took a soak in the water trough and laid down for a rest in the corral!
He did enjoy a couple of beginning agility classes. We will pursue more agility training after he finishes up at 4 Paws University with basic obedience training.
Cisco’s pet peeves include Harley Davidson motorcycles (loud engines in general) and dogs who play too roughly for him at the dog park; that’s why he is usually on the small dog/shy dog side.
Cisco would love for you to say hello and give him a belly rub when you see him at the park.
