WHAT FOODS AND OTHER SUBSTANCES ARE POISONOUS TO DOGS?

A couple of dog owners sent me e-mails warning that raisins and grapes are poisonous to animals.  I've also heard that chocolate is bad for canines. What other foods and substances are dangerous to our pets?

The most reliable source for these answers comes from the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center.  Discover what PEOPLE FOOD is bad.  Which PLANTS are toxic and which are not?

It's the middle of summer and the ASPCA reminds us that Poisonous Things Can Come in Small Packages... that BITE!
