PHOENIX DOG PARK

It was HOT! It was crowded with Area 1 Closed and Large and Small Dogs sharing Area 2. The Dachshunds began to arrive around 2pm and took over Area 3, the smallest enclosure in Phoenix Dog Park. Then some of their Dachshunds friends began to show up - and then more, and more, and MORE! It was an INVASION of Dachshunds. Last count, FIFTY-FIVE (Yes - 55!) Dachshunds took over the park for their April meetup.

It would appear that everyone had a good time -- 2-legged and 4-legged alike. Many of our little friends stayed under their owners chairs for shade and others spent a good deal of time in the swimming pool keeping cool - but these tough little guys stuck it out and still had fun chasing other pooches along the fence or greeting other dog owners visiting the park.
