During the rainy season, the dog park may be closed without notice, to protect the turf from excessive damage. You may call 916-966-1011 (ext. 23) for a recorded message about the status of the dog park or link to the Park District's FIELD CLOSURE UPDATES or SIGN UP FOR E-MAIL NOTIFICATIONS.

OUR WINNERS TAKE THEIR HELICOPTER RIDE!

On Sunday, June 24, our winners of the FORDOG fund-raising raffle held on May 21st, collected their prize and took their half hour helicopter ride with Silver State Helicopters. Lynn and Carol (Lola and Katy Basset Hounds) and Patricia (Maddie Bassett Hound) set off on their ride over the American River and visited the dog park as well.

On the left are copies of all of the pictures taken by Patricia, and on the right is a short slide show highlighting their trip over the dog park.
