Liam came to us through the Sacramento County Shelter. He was picked up as a stray. The original owners were located, but they turned him over to the shelter for adoption. He was emaciated; i.e., thin, bones sticking out and had worms and eventually kennel cough.
Our daughter, however, took a liking to him and convinced mom and dad that we should give him a forever home - and it was so...
Now, he is so happy and has greatly improved our lives! We just LOVE him. He is so sweet with our 6 year old daughter. He is an adorable, good natured little dog who loves being with us. Liam is a big fan of the dog park and has made many new friends.
A poem from Liam:
My last owners didn't want me
But now I am happy as can be!
I am wonderful with everyone and have love for all
I may have enriched my family's life in many ways, but I still can't fetch a ball!
