Maggie and her owner, Patti, are regulars at the dog park.  Maggie had a 3 inch pin inserted into her left, rear elbow joint when she was 4 months old due to a genetic deformity that didn't knit properly.  But that hasn't slowed down Maggie one bit:

She loves to play and fetch tennis balls.  She swims like a pro.  Her mom is 3/4 Golden Retriever and her Dad is 1/4 Black Labrator.

Besides her athletic ability, she is intelligent as well.  Maggie, with the help of her owner, has completed her Therapy training through the Delta Society and Lend A Heart Animal Assisted Therapy, Inc.  program.

Maggie will roll over and spin without hand signals.

Patti says sometimes Maggie thinks she is a cat as she lives with four felines at home.
