Peanut's age is unknown. He was adopted by a friend of ours from the Yolo County SPCA last November (2007); but within a few days, she determined he was too mischievous for her.
Rather than return him to the shelter, we decided to add him to our family which now includes 3 other dogs (Casey, Cody and Kalie and 2 cats, Snuggle and Buggle).
He entered the shelter in a "night box" meaning that he was turned in when the shelter was closed so very little is known about him. However, he was matted, dirty and starving so he was in need of some TLC. We think he is a Bichon-Poo (cross between Bichon Frise and Poodle) but we are not sure.
He resembles a little lamb and is a very happy and playful guy. He always has a smile on his face and although it took him awhile to get used to love and affection, he now revels in it. Kermit has nicknamed him "Lambo"; the name Peanut was given to him at the shelter because he was so thin. He is now a healthy and happy dog and absolutely loves his
siblings.
He, Cody and Casey love to roll around in their giant dog bed while Kalie stands by thinking "what a bunch of silly boys....." He has added a lot of joy to our lives and we are so grateful to our friend Dani for bringing Peanut to us. Pepper would be happy for us.
