During the rainy season, the dog park may be closed without notice, to protect the turf from excessive damage. You may call 916-966-1011 (ext. 23) for a recorded message about the status of the dog park or link to the Park District's FIELD CLOSURE UPDATES or SIGN UP FOR E-MAIL NOTIFICATIONS.

Popeye came to us at about 12 weeks old from kissabullz a breeder located in Fair Oaks, Ca. We've had him since Dec 2007 and he has been a delight everyday. Popeye has the personality of a clown. His funny little antics and playfulness always puts a smile on our face.

You can almost always find us in the "Big" dog area. Popeye enjoys chasing after dogs that are chasing after tennis balls or frisbees. Popeye gets along well with other dogs and loves to greet everyone with a kiss. Popeye is quite fond of "Bella" the pitbull. He loves running after her and will wrestle with her until the sun goes down.

We visit the Phoenix Dog Park most times late in the evening when the sun is down and it is pretty cool.

Popeye is a graduate of Puppy & Intermediate classes from PetSmart. He graduated with honors and will be starting Advanced classes in the next month.
