Shelby is a Golden Retreiver/Collie, about a year and a half old.  She lives with her best bud Aussie, owned by Dean & Carol. 

We aquired Shelby from a couple that were overworked and no time for dogs. She obviously had no training of any kind.  We think Shelby was a back yard dog. 

After relieving herself in our house a few times, refusing to sit or stay or walk on a leash, and barking incessantly, it was obvious Shelby needed discipline and training.  We are working with Shelby to learn the basics and building her self-confidence.

When Shelby first visited the dog park, she was terrified of most dogs from a Chihuahua on up to the "big guys"; but after spending some time at the dog park, she is NOW playing with many of them.
