Name: Sukoshi ("Little Bit" in Japanese. Pronounced Sko-shee)
Breed:

Shiba Inu (Inu means "dog" in Japanese. Usually translated as "little bushwood dog")

Age: 2 Years Old As of: April 2007
Survived by: Gail
Bio:
June 2007 FORDOG K9 of the month!

Sukoshi was rescued from a pet store and has traveled all the way from Missouri to California.

When Sukoshi first visited Phoenix Dog Park, she sat down and surveyed the area for an extended period of time.  I think she was amazed at the large, open expanse of grass.

Today, Sukoshi is a 'dog park regular' and hangs out on the small side. Periodically, she will still sit and observe the on-going activities.  Other dog owners call her the "school yard monitor".  I think she enjoys her canine play buddies, her ability to run free (a special treat for a Shiba), and all of the nice people that visit the park.

Not a bad life for a small Japanese dog from Missorui!
