Tory was born in the San Francisco Bay Area on September 23, 2003.

He was shown for confirmation during his first year, then sold by a breeder to a friend of mine.  I was blessed by becoming Tory's new owner and "mom".   Previous to Tory, I owned another Australian Shepherd which I lost to cancer in September of 2004.  I was grieving tremendously when my friend FORCED this year old puppy  - Tory - on me in October 2004.

Tory and I immediately bonded.   He's physically active: running in the Phoenix Dog Park is the happiest time of his day.  Tory prefers "associating" with PEOPLE over other dogs, especially adores children, and almost "purrs" when a human sweet talks and pets him

Tory is a free spirit, resists constraint (due, I'm afraid, to lack of training by his overindulgent Mom, who is unapologetic over her  lackadaisical attitude), but is a mellow fellow who avoids nasty confrontation with other dogs. 

Martha and Tory owe much of their happy life together due to the FORDOG volunteer organization, and we are very thankful to this fine organization.
