We welcomed Abby into our home through PuppyLoveRescue.com.   We were about to lose a very old Shih-Tzu, Maggie, to disease and wanted a companion for our one other Shih-Tzu, Tosha, before Maggie left us.
I was rescued from a backyard breeder along with my mother. We were beaten, under nourished, coats were a disaster, several types of worms, ear mites, eye, ear and skin infections.  It took the foster mother 1 ½ years to get us in shape.

After 2 years I am starting to come out of my shell.  My Mom says I have an attitude!   Although I don't really act like it, my favorite place is the dog park.  I get so excited when Mom puts us in the car, and we turn into the park.  I bark the whole way.  I also drawl really bad when I play at the park.  I also have an adopted sister, Tosha, (also a Shih-Tzu), but she does not like cameras at all.  She is a scardy cat, but she loves the park too -- and oh my gosh, she has a boyfriend named Homey!!!!!!   Shut up!!!!   She met him at the dog park.
