Runner acquired us in Huntsville, Alabama. He followed Julia home from a run. He had no collar and was very dirty. We took Runner in and posted signs and called around the neighborhood looking for the owner.
The owner eventually made contact after three weeks, but didn't recognize Runner after he had a bath and some grooming. The owner decided that he didn't want to keep Runner, so he gave him to us.
Runner is a very laid back dog with a great smile and is always glad to see us. He spends a lot of time with us when we go on a run or ride our bicycles. You will see Runner quite often at the Dog Park with both the BIG dogs and the " little" dogs.
