On September 9th, 2006, volunteers from FORDOG built three shade structures for the Phoenix Dog Park. The materials were paid for by the generosity of the FORDOG members. Seven volunteers provided labor and tools to build the structures. Two volunteers provided water, donuts, and lunch. One volunteer took photos to preserve the accomplishment. Fair Oaks Park District provided generators, electrical, and delivered the lumber. Several other members stopped by (or called) to provide moral support.
In 2009, another structure was added with the help of our volunteers.
